The developer behind the intensively popular mobile app game, Flappy Bird has pulled the game from sale, citing the sudden pressure of all the media attention on him.
The act of pulling the game from sale has unsurprisingly raised his media profile.
Dong Nguyen had previously said that he coded the game in just a few days and was earning as much as US$50,000 per day in mobile advertising revenues.
Did say on his Twitter account that he still makes games and might make a sequel, but Flappy Birds was over.
"I cannot take this anymore." he ended his message with.
Launched last May, the game which owed much of its look to computer games of the 1980s was free to download and by the time it was withdrawn, had been downloaded more than 50 million times.
An associated YouTube channel promoting the game was watched more than 22 million times.
