Nokia Removes Mapping App from Apple App Store:

Nokia has quietly removed its Here Maps from Apple's iOS App Store, blaming the decision on Apple's latest OS changes.
Nokia launched its own mapping product for Apple devices following the very public problems that Apple had when it tried to develop its own mapping service, with often amusing mistakes cropping up across the place.
Nokia said in a statement sent to the Indian Express that "recent changes to iOS 7 harm the user experience".
Nokia added that "iPhone users can continue to use the mobile web version of HERE Maps under m.here.com., offering them core location needs, such as search, routing, orientation, transit information and more, all completely free of charge."
It's not clear how many downloads the Nokia maps for Apple devices had, or if the removal of the app would have a material impact on the division's revenues.
Nokia still supports the Android platform in addition to the core Windows Phone OS.
