Samsung appears to be close to releasing an OS upgrade for users of its
Galaxy S4 smartphone, according to leaked images of the software.
The upgrade will see Android 4.4 (KitKat) rolled out to the S4 users, and a
leaked preview was acquired by SamMobile who have been running it for a
week to see what will change.
So far it is only confirmed for the LTE version of the S4 handset, although
that is expected to change when the full version is ready.
The main changes are mostly cosmetic, dropping Samsung's preference for the
colour green to bring it in line with Android user interface recommendations to
use white instead.
There is also now a new shortcut to the camera application, and a modified
landscape keyboard.
The OS update is generally expected to start rolling out next month.
